Laz The Plant Scientist
Laz The Plant Scientist is my heart-centred business I created to share high quality, sustainably sourced natural medicines with the people. When I began learning about natural medicines, I experimented a lot with my own formulations and remedies for friends and family. I was blown away by how well they worked, how life-long conditions were alleviated and how much the quality of mine and my loved one’s lives improved. I was also quite frankly horrified by the natural products industry, the quality of products and lack of ethics behind them. The more I studied the more I felt impassioned to take it into my own hands and create and share medicines I would want for my family and me. So, my journey into business began…
My intentions with this was to create a platform where herbal knowledge is made accessible, as are quality medicines. Where people know what they are getting, that it is respectfully sourced, and how it works, all at accessible price points. I want people to be empowered, knowledgeable, discerning and inspired. I want people to know how much they can support their wellbeing and therefore happiness with natural medicines- after all what are we here for if its not to be happy?
Knowing what I want to see in the world, it was clear to me that I needed to create my own business, as business’s are vehicles for change. To pour all of my knowledge, heart and creativity into this has been a privilege I cherish, and the response from the public has been deeply moving. For this I feel truly honoured. No doubt businesses selling natural medicines face deep and complex problems, but I will continue to move steadfast towards the world I want to see.
